Good morning loves!!! Could the name for this smoothie be any longer?! I love spooning my way through this ultra thick smoothie after an intense workout. This smoothie is banana-less and borrows its chocolate flavor from plant-based protein powder. This baby is perfect to have about 30 minutes post workout so that the protein can help rebuild muscles. Did I mention it is SUPER easy to pull together, as with all smoothies. Which I was I can't go a single day without one. Who in their right mind would want to do that?
Post Workout Creamy Chocolate Blueberry Smoothie
- 1 cup chopped frozen zucchini
- 1 or 2 scoops chocolate protein powder (I use a plant-based type)
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
- 1/2 nut based milk or more if needed (I used flax this time!)
- Top with blueberries, granola and chia seeds
